This great interview that’s all about the blockchain is with Ryan Shea. Ryan is a co-Founder of Blockstack Labs. Blockstack is building the blockchain stack for a distributed Internet database. It’s quite interesting. We also talk a lot about using the blockchain to establish identity on the Internet (Blockstack was previously called OneName).

Blockstack is based in NYC. They went through Y Combinator in 2014 and have raised about $1.45 MM from some prominent investors.

I invited Ryan on the show because I’m really interested about their future, identity on the Internet and building a true Internet database.
